  • Welcome to Learningprofessor to get rid of the following nagging questions from your mind.

How can an employer reject me though I have good grades?

How can an employer reject me though I have schooled in good English medium school?

How can you demand my products at CHINA price?

How can you demand such a low defect rate (3.4 PPM) from my production unit at this price?

These are some typical questions that people ask when they fail in a competitive environment. TQM not only answers these questions but also helps to succeed and thrive in a globally competitive market.

  • If engineering is a social experimentation then software engineering (SE) does that much faster. SE has brought more benefits to the society than any other discipline and is pervasive in nature. SE is also notorious for massive failures. Billions of dollars are lost due to failed, incomplete, unused and unwanted SE projects.

SE therefore acquires importance. You will learn about the entire life cycle of a software. Software starts its life from the needs of users, customers and stakeholders, proceeds to requirement specification, design, analysis, coding, testing, configuration, maintenance and end of support.

With the increasing awareness of biological systems, software replicates their functions and competes with natural systems. Yet, software is created by you and me and its life is in our hands. I welcome you to this interesting field of SE to enjoy your time.

  • People have been told to dream, set goals and objectives for their life. They have been asked to focus continuously on their objectives and strive to achieve them. This approach has brought material wealth to people. But, simultaneously, many of them failed to balance their objectives in other spheres like values in personal life. The result has been colossal failures, corruption and loss of human values. When the loss to the society became intolerable, people realized it has to be attacked from its root. The result is introduction of ‘Professional Ethics and Human Values’ in our educational system. The objective of the course is to:

    • Create awareness of the subject,
    • Instill moral and social values, and loyalty
    • Appreciate the right of others
